Meet Momma (white speckled pit bull)! She has been through so much in her three years that it is incredible. She was first taken into a rescue with her seven puppies when they were 25 days old. Momma and her entire litter were on the euthanasia list in Louisiana. She came to us as a skeleton. Well, we fattened her up and she went to a great home. But sadly, during that time, we found out that she can only be housed with neutured male dogs. Now Momma is looking for her true home yet again. I can't stress to you enough how sweet this little girl is. She can sit with you for days just being petted on the head. She LOVES tennis balls and is very playful. Momma also is crate trained, house trained, very obedient and has an intense enthusiastic drive to please. I have no idea how she has survived the tragedy of her life and came out with this much love to give. Please give her a chance. She needs you more then anyone right now. There is no fee, Momma is free to adopt, but I will be making a home visit and her placement will be situational. I can make exceptions on living conditions if the family is the right fit. She needs total understanding and a tender loving heart to help heal her. ----------------------------------------------------- Rose is my foster dog (dark brindle pit/mountain cur). She is around three years old, fixed, up to date on all of her shots, perfectly up to date on flea and heartworm medication, and a mix between a pit bull and a mountain cur. Rosie is a doll baby and has a huge piece of my heart. The reason she is a foster and not my permanent family member is because of the dynamic between her and my dog Jade. Rose has been through and seen things that I will never know. She has some demons that haunt her and if she is faced with a high energy and highly driven dog, especially a female, she will react aggressively. The peace has been kept in my house but I feel that Rose would be much happier in her own home with her own exclusive family and have every day dedicated to her. So no other animals in the home, please.
